Auf alten Walserwegen<\/h2>\n

Freitag: Campello Monti nach Rimella<\/h3>\n

Da wir schlussendlich nur zu viert waren, fuhr uns Dominic mit seinem Privatauto nach Omegna am Ortasee. Bevor wir die abenteuerliche Strasse hochfuhren nach Campello Monti, gabs eine kurze Kaffeepause in Omegna.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Wir liefen in dem kleinen, beschaulichen Ort, Campello Monti, los. Es startete gem\u00e4chlich, dann wurde der sch\u00f6n angelegte Weg etwas steiler. Die Sonne schien nicht, es war aber sehr \u00abschw\u00fcl\u00bb. Auf dem h\u00f6chsten Punkt, 1924 m, Bocchetta di Campello, machten wir eine Pause und genossen die herrliche Aussicht.\u00a0Dann gings an den letzten Abschnitt f\u00fcr diesen Tag. Wieder frisch gest\u00e4rkt liefen wir runter nach Rimella, 1182 m. Wir bestaunten die vielen h\u00fcbschen H\u00e4user aus Stein, kamen mit Einheimischen ins Gespr\u00e4ch und so fanden wir unsere Bleibe f\u00fcr die erste Nacht.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Um 20 Uhr konnten wir im legend\u00e4ren Fontana zu Abend essen. Ganz wie es sich in Italien geh\u00f6rt, gab es sehr viele, kleine Vorspeisen. Wir hatten eigentlich schon fast genug gegessen, aber es gab noch zwei Hauptg\u00e4nge und noch ein Dessert.<\/p>\n

M\u00fcde und mit vollen B\u00e4uchen bezogen wir die Zimmer\u2026 und freuten uns schon auf den zweiten Tag.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Samstag: Rimella – Alpe Baranca<\/h3>\n

Am 2. Tag verliess,en wir das antike und gem\u00fctliche Albergho Fontanna kurz vor 10:00. Erst liefen wir runter, um den Bach zu \u00fcberqueren. Auf der anderen Seite stiegen wir durch den Wald hoch, vorbei ging es an ein paar Walser Weiler bis zur Alpe da Res. Diesen 2. September gab es da ein traditionelles Fest, mit Spielen, Essen, Musik und einer Messe vor der kleinen Kapelle. Es ist Mittag, wir assen ein leichtes Picknick und begannen dann mit dem Abstieg ins Val Mastallone. Unterwegs kamen uns noch mehrere Festteilnehmer entgegen.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Im Tal mussten wir eine Weile eine Teerstrasse hochlaufen. Es war ruhig, kein Auto, aber auf einer Strasse wandern, bringt nicht so viel Spass. Es dauerte nicht lange, da kamen wir in Santa Maria an. Wir folgten wieder einem Wanderweg an einem sch\u00f6nen Bach mit Wasserfall entlang. So liefen wir eine gute Stunde bis zur Alpe Baranca, 1576m. Ein friedlicher Ort, wo wir sehr herzlich und einfach empfangen wurden. Da blieben wir f\u00fcr die Nacht, erneut mit einem reichen Abendessen. Ein Pferd, Esel, K\u00fche, Schafe, Ziegen, H\u00fchner, zwei Hunde leben da alle zusammen vervollst\u00e4ndigten das bukolische Bild!<\/p>\n

Sonntag: Baranca – Carcoforo<\/h3>\n

Nach dem st\u00e4rkenden Bauernfr\u00fchst\u00fcck geht es aufw\u00e4rts. Zuerst \u00fcber einen Saumweg,\u00a0der in Serpentinen den tosenden Torrente Mastallone rechts liegen l\u00e4sst und dann\u00a0hinauf zum Lago di Baranca, Col Baranca und dahinter zur Alpe Selle, wo sich eine\u00a0grosse Schafherde ausbreitet.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Von hier ist das Ruinengeb\u00e4ude der Villa Aprilia von Vincenzo Lancia zu sehen. Die\u00a0Villa wurde 1944 von deutschen Truppen gesprengt, damit die Partisanen sich hier\u00a0nicht einnisten konnten.\u00a0Weiter geht es \u00fcber Alpwiesen bergauf zum aussichtsreichen Colle d\u2019Egua. Und was\u00a0f\u00fcr ein Ausblick: die ganze Monte-Rosa-Ostwand mit Margheritah\u00fctte vor uns! Damit\u00a0wir noch etwas mehr weisse Heimatberge sehen, besteigen wir noch einen kleinen\u00a0\u00abHubol\u00bb. Und hier gibt es noch eine \u00dcberraschung: Gipfelwein Petit Arvine!<\/p>\n<\/div>

<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Der Abstieg in den weiten Alpenkessel der Alpe d`Egua f\u00fchrt \u00fcber ein intensiv\u00a0genutztes Alpgebiet mit K\u00fchen, Schafen und Eseln. Beim Rifugio Boffalora ist viel\u00a0Betrieb und es wird Polenta serviert. Wir brauchen vor allem einen k\u00fchlenden Drink\u00a0f\u00fcr die letzten H\u00f6henmeter hinunter nach Carcoforo, wo der Taxichauffeur schon\u00a0bereitsteht.<\/p>\n

Fahrt zur\u00fcck nach Omegna, wo wir froh sind \u00fcber einen Schattenplatz und einen Durststiller, w\u00e4hrend Dominic in Campello Monti den Bus holt. W\u00e4hrend der Heimfahrt besteht schon ein reger Austausch \u00fcber die n\u00e4chsten Etappen im 2024 \u2026<\/p>\n
